The Soul Miners are a high-energy, soul covers band.
We specialise in performing soul music from the '60's & '70's (with some disco, funk, and contemporary tunes). We are based in Cardiff, Wales, and are available to perform throughout the UK. Since 2007, we have played at hundreds of venues, from private houses, clubs and theatres, to outdoor festivals. Weddings, functions and parties in particular are our speciality.
Our repertoire features songs by legendary artists such as Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Stevie Wonder, and Ray Charles. Many of the songs from the films ‘The Blues Brothers’, 'Dirty Dancing', & ‘The Commitments’ are in our sets, as we know how much our audiences love to dance to them!
All of us in the band share a deep love of soul music and our enthusiasm for performing together shows in our performances - we like to get our audiences involved and to have FUN! We have earned a reputation for being an energetic, professional and reliable band. All of the songs we perform are bona fide classics loved by generations of music fans. Ideal entertainment for any event.

Our current line-up features three vocalists, all of whom perform lead and backing vocals, duet, and harmonise together.
Our backline musicians include saxophone, guitar, keyboards, bass guitar and drums.
Our audio engineer always ensures we have the best possible sound to put on a great show, and we only use professional audio and lighting equipment. We are all highly-experienced and have spent years honing our skills in front of audiences.
With sets packed with big tunes, we'll make sure you get up, and stay up, dancing all night long!
