'We would like to say a massive thank you to Paul and all of The Soul Miners for performing at our wedding. After seeing them perform at my sister’s wedding, there was no doubt we wanted them too when it came to planning our big day. And we are so glad they were available!! From the moment we first contacted them they were so easy to work with and nothing seemed too much trouble.
When they arrived on the day, they began to set up causing no disruption. Just hearing them from outside as they went through a sound check got everyone excited to get in to see them! They even sourced a recording of our first dance song without fuss when I had forgotten to bring a copy! They started to perform in their own style with their amazing voices leading the way and people could not wait to hit the dance floor.
Their choice of songs and upbeat, funky music made everyone not want to sit down! We did hope that people would dance early on to get the party going. As soon as the band started the dance floor was full and it really did stay that way all night. We could not recommend them highly enough! Especially for something as special as your wedding day.
We've had so many comments from guests about how they really kept the party going and had talent that really needs to be heard! Even after their two sets, our guests weren't ready for them to leave!! 'When we started planning our wedding, we both knew we wanted a soul band and although we'd never seen The Soul Miners perform, we went with the recommendation of a friend. When we were looking for bands to play at our wedding reception, there were very few that had footage of live performances on their websites. We were really excited with the live performances and impressed that they had the confidence to show how they sounded in a live setting. Liaising with the band manager Paul was so easy; Paul was really helpful and reassuring.
On the day the band arrived early, were extremely professional and prepared to adapt to last minute changes. The Soul Miners performance was absolutely superb and exceeded all our expectations. They definitely got the party started and came prepared with a few dance moves of their own!! Our wedding guests were shaking their tail feathers from the first song to the last! And so many guests are still telling us how good they were….weeks after the wedding! So if you like soul music, we cannot recommend The Soul Miners highly enough…..'

'With days to go before our wedding, an act that we had booked pulled out - absolute horror. Following a recommendation from a friend, we contacted The Soul Miners who were not only available but understood our predicament and jumped into action taking the booking at very short notice. With so much going on with the wedding, the band was extremely adept at setting up without disturbing the party, and then they began to play - I have rarely seen a band enthuse a wedding crowd such as The Soul Miners did.
Playing a collection of crowd raising classics, the dance floor was soon filled with young and old able to make many shapes to the tub-thumping beat of the music. Portraying a rich variety, the play list was ideal for the event and the quality of the band’s performance was top drawer. Their effect on our guests left them demanding an encore at the end of their sets (I do not think the band would have been allowed off the stage without an obligatory last song).
The Soul Miners are brilliant, and if you are wondering what to have at your wedding reception, they are a must. They will have your guests on their feet in no time at all! Thank you for being part of our big day.’

'This was not the first wedding in our family and having been badly let down by a prominent Cardiff band on a previous occasion, I was understandably a bit nervous on the approach to making a booking for Jenna & Nathan’s wedding. So my initial appreciation of The Soul Miners was the professional attitude of their manager Paul who I dealt with for the booking. On the night that professionalism was again evident. They arrived on time with no fuss and completed their set-up and sound check within the given time scale.
When they started to play…Well! Suffice to say we had a packed dance floor the whole time – terrific vocalists and musicians – the overall sound was tremendous, and their song list was everything you could hope for. Everybody absolutely loved the band and commented on what nice people they were too!" The Soul Miners were certainly not the most expensive band I approached regarding this booking – they were excellent value for money, and I have no hesitation in recommending their services.
